Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
• Write advanced DAX and Power Query (M) transformations
• Design scalable semantic/tabular models and ensure performance optimization
• Implement RLS/OLS for secure data access
• Integrate Power BI with SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks, APIs, and other data sources
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior team members

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with Azure data services (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory)
• Familiarity with deployment pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Direct Lake, OneLake) is a plus
• Knowledge of PySpark/Python, paginated reports (SSRS/RDL), or Power BI Embedded is advantageous
