Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Lead microservices and event-driven architecture initiatives
• Perform code reviews and drive best engineering practices, testing, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams for solution delivery
• Mentor developers and support Agile delivery processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
• Ensure security and compliance standards are followed

Requirements

• 6–8 years of Java development experience with 2+ years in a lead role
• Strong expertise in Java 8/21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, JUnit, and Mockito
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
