Deputy Manager/Manager, Digital Marketing - SEO & AI Optimization

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall SEO/AEO/GEO function
• Define SEO/AEO/GEO strategy and roadmap
• Drive AI-readiness and discovery optimization initiatives across client accounts
• Standardize SEO frameworks, SOPs, templates, and reporting practices
• Establish governance, QA, and operational best practices
• Monitor team utilization, delivery efficiency, and process adherence
• Support complex SEO audits, consulting, and strategic recommendations
• Mentor and guide SEO team members and leads
• Support capability building and professional growth within the team
• Support RFPs, RFIs, estimates, and new project discussions
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across projects
• Support pre-sales discussions and identify growth opportunities
• Help position the organization for future search and discovery ecosystems

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing
• Experience handling enterprise SEO projects and client communication
• Strong understanding of AI-driven search, AEO/GEO concepts, semantic search, and evolving discovery ecosystems
• Experience building scalable SEO processes, governance models, and operational workflows
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Ability to derive actionable insights from traffic, ranking, conversion, and engagement data
• Understanding of SEO performance measurement, attribution, and reporting frameworks
• Experience in team management, mentoring, and process governance
• Experience collaborating with content, analytics, development, UX, and paid media teams
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and consulting skills
• Flexibility to support client discussions and late-night calls when required
