Re-engineering a legacy investment system into a high-performance Azure-based platform to automate capital activities and investor demographics reporting.
A leading European financial management provider specializing in venture capital, hedge funds, and private equity.
The client’s legacy platform suffered from significant performance lags, poor usability, and fragmented data upload processes that delayed investor reporting.
QBurst re-architected and re-engineered the client's fund management system to a cloud-native Azure environment. By implementing a high-concurrency .NET Core backend and an Angular 8 frontend, we eliminated operational bottlenecks, integrated automated DocuSign workflows, and modernized the reporting engine to deliver real-time investment insights.
Based in Europe, the client is a premier provider of financial management services for mid-tier investment funds, including real estate and venture capital. They manage institutional capital and provide critical reporting tools that allow fund managers to monitor investment performance and handle complex investor subscriptions.
The existing fund management tool was hampered by outdated architecture, leading to frequent delays in administrative tasks.
We delivered an end-to-end modernization of the platform, utilizing Azure DevOps for sprint management to ensure last-mile visibility. We optimized the entire stack, from the Angular 8 user interface to the Azure SQL database, following UI/UX and cloud architecture best practices.

The platform was built to handle high-frequency transactions with superior data integrity:
