Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts for web and API-based applications
• Analyze system performance under load and identify bottlenecks
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to improve application scalability and stability
• Conduct different types of performance testing such as load, stress, endurance, and spike testing
• Monitor application performance using APM and monitoring tools
• Prepare detailed performance test reports with actionable insights and recommendations
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable
• Participate in performance tuning and optimization discussions

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in performance testing and engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter
• Good experience or exposure to modern tools like k6, Gatling, or similar
• Solid understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies
• Experience in API testing (REST/GraphQL)
• Proficiency in scripting (Java, JavaScript, or similar)
• Experience in analyzing logs and performance metrics
• Knowledge of HTTP, networking fundamentals, and system architecture
• Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics
