Associate Manager / Manager, Finance and Accounts

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly review of ledgers and ensure timely and accurate closure of books of accounts
• Perform detailed variance analysis and monitor expenses in collaboration with the Business Finance team
• Review accounts receivable aging and drive timely follow-up for collections
• Oversee property & equipment accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, reconciliation, and fixed asset tracking
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and financial regulations across various geographies
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and management MIS reports
• Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements for accounting and reporting efficiency
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders during audits and compliance reviews
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as required
• Mentor and guide junior finance team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field; CA/CMA/CPA/MBA Finance preferred
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial reporting
• Strong expertise in general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and financial reconciliations
• Hands-on experience in variance analysis, expense monitoring, and accounts receivable management
• Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and multi-geography compliance requirements
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, and audit processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
