The regional competition of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) was held in Herndon, VA, on May 11th and QBurst was one of the event sponsors. The competition was held for children aged between 8 and 19 years in three different categories.

WRO is an international robot competition that brings together young people from all over the world to develop their creativity, design, and problem-solving skills through challenging and educational robot competitions and activities. The USA chapter of WRO had organized the regional competition in partnership with Robotics For Youth (RFY). Robotics For Youth is a non-profit organization led by youth with the aim of promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) amongst school children.
